Parent Experts

Faith Lutheran School would like to highlight the various occupations of our FLS parents. If you are interested in listing your occupation/profession, or if you have an interesting occupation and would like to give a presentation to your child's classroom, please inform your child's teacher.

Did you know one of our FLS parents, Dr. Stephen Kim, is a pediatric dentist? You can learn more about his practice at http://www.everyonebyone.com/

We also have a parent who is a physiologist and you can learn more about her services here:

http://eastsidepsychologicalassociates.com/profile_compton.html

Dr. Compton earned her doctoral degree in educational psychology from the University of Washington. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Washington Autism Center, serving children with a variety of neurodevelopmental disorders and their families. As a licensed psychologist, Dr. Compton specializes in providing treatment to children with disruptive behavior disorders to address externalizing problems such as noncompliance, emotional dysregulation, and aggression. Dr. Compton often incorporates parent coaching as part of her work with young children in order to help parents practice evidence-based behavior management and emotion regulation techniques.

Disclosure: Faith Lutheran School and staff do not endorse any professionals listed on this page.  We simply offer this information as a resource for our families.
