Purchasing Uniforms

Uniforms can be purchased at a variety of locations. They can be purchased on-line using the following codes so the logos, colors, and patterns are appropriate for our school. Also local stores such as Target, GAP, JC Penney, Kohl’s, and Gymboree also carry a variety of uniform clothing.

Dennis Uniforms catalog: www.dennisuniform.com School code: XSF120
Lands’ End catalog: www.landsend.com School Number: 9000-4767-1 Logo Number: 9953120K

Navy Pants: Navy twill or navy cords. NO jeans or sweatpants. If you don’t purchase through Dennis or Lands’ End, be sure there are no cargo pockets, carpenter pant loops, obvious labels, or elastic bottoms. Pants should be plain!
Navy Shorts: Shorts may be worn April 1 through October 31. Shorts should be navy twill and very plain. Shorts should be similar to those offered by Dennis.
White Shirts: Long-sleeve or short-sleeve white polo shirts, or white turtlenecks. White shirts must have a collar. If clothing has a logo it must be the FLS logo in navy, but it is not required. We do ask that each student have at least one shirt with the Faith Logo and one sweater. Girls may wear a white blouse with a peter-pan collar.
Pullovers: Red or Navy sweatshirt without hood. Navy fleece vest with FLS logo. Red cardigan sweater or red sleeveless sweater vest. Again we would like each child to have at least one sweater and shirt with the school logo on it. If clothing has a logo it must be the FLS logo.
Optional Girls’ Items: Jumper in Lloyd plaid (must be purchased from Dennis). Lloyd plaid knife-pleat skirt or skort, navy skort, or jumper. If girls are not wearing a skort, they must have something on to cover their under garment. Solid white, navy, or red leggings or bike shorts may be worn underneath jumpers and skirts.
Shoes: All shoes must be closed toe, for playground safety purposes. Platform shoes or shoes with wheels are not acceptable. Students may not wear Crocs. Please choose comfortable shoes that are neat and presentable. Tennis Shoes may be worn any day and must be worn on PE day.
Chapel: It is expected that boys wear a red or blue sweater, vest, or sweatshirt with the school logo to chapel and to any event where children are representing FLS to the public. Girls “dress uniform” equivalent would be plaid jumper or skirt/skort, white collared blouse, and a red sweater with logo.

Free Dress Day

Free Dress Day is the last Friday of each month.   (Last Thursday for Pre-Kindergarten.) If there is no school on the last Friday of the month (e.g., December), free dress day will be the last Friday of the month that we do have school. Please dress your children neatly and appropriately on free dress day. Clothing must still reflect a Christian and caring community. T-shirts depicting any inappropriate (violence, drugs, sexual connotation, alcohol, tobacco) words or scenes will not be tolerated, parents will be contacted immediately, and the student will be asked to change. Students still need to wear socks with their closed toe shoes.   Crocs are are not allowed on free dress day.
