WELCOME!
Dear Faith Lutheran Students and Parents,
We take pride in welcoming you to a new school year at Faith. We are very proud of our dedicated staff, motivated students, and supportive Faith families who place the partnership between education and volunteerism high on their priority list. Faith is a school in which you also can take great pride in:
- Our compassionate Christian environment
- Small class sizes
- A program designed to help our children grow academically, socially, and emotionally
- Staff eager to help our students become self- disciplined, independent, productive, and caring citizens
- Curriculum designed to establish patterns for life-long learning
We are convinced that the best opportunities for education are available through God’s grace when children, parents and staff work together. Therefore, we ask your support and assistance in making Faith a place where children, with all their unique qualities, have the opportunity to become everything they were meant to be in life.
We have created a handbook to help you learn more about our school. You can either download the handbook as a PDF, or browse the handbook on our website. We trust you and your child will go through the handbook together. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your child throughout the school year.
Sincerely,
The Principal and Staff of Faith Lutheran School

|
|
Attached is an informational overview of how Faith Lutheran School will respond to unexpected closures and delays. This would be a good document to print out and have handy in the event of inclement weather and the need for school to start late or close. If you are unable to print this document please e-mail me and I’d be happy to print a copy for you. If at all possible we will also utilize e-mail as a way to communicate unexpected closures and delays.
I pray each and every one of you have a safe and joy filled Thanksgiving.
In joyful service,
Barbara Deming

Why choose Faith in an area that is surrounded by other high achieving public and private schools?
- All class sizes under 14.
- Values curriculum.
- Individualized instruction.
- Traditional math instruction program.
- Focus on early childhood pre-school-3rd grade
- Strong parent support, involvement, and input.
- High expectations for academic, behavior, and character development.
- Hands on Foss Science instruction stressing inquiry skills.
- Curriculum, instruction, and assessment aligned with state standards.
Faith School is a non-denominational Christian school located in the heart of Redmond, Washington. We have been serving the greater Eastside for 25 years!
We specialize in early childhood offering a Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten Preparation class, and Kindergarten to 3rd grade.
We provide individualized instruction especially in reading, writing and math.
Our math curriculum is traditional in the sense that we expect memorization of basic facts and traditional teaching methods that ensures all students have a strong foundation in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, patterning, predicting, organizing, and much more.
Science is introduced in pre-school by giving the students a variety of experiences with light, sound, animals, nature, and experimentation with properties of matter.
Our curriculum is aligned from grade to grade to ensure proper scaffolding of science concepts.
